Ignore him. He's a friend of mine who deliberately came on here to troll everyone (don't ask me why, as I honestly don't know). I'm one of the co-owners of the label he's referring to, Crystal Canvas Recordings. It's a new label, and our goal is to sign talented up-and-comers (like any good label does) while mixing in some content by established producers. Nothing too "serious." You can find our stuff on IMOdownload (oh, IMO, how I love you) if you want to hear. http://www.imodownload.com/Crystal-Canvas-Recordings

late to the argument i know but been having a good read through the posts and got to say Thumpa is right.

From a producers point of view, Gisbo you still got a long way to go man.

keep up the hard work though and try to learn to take constructive criticism better or you look unprofessional and you dont want that :D

take some time to perfect your sound and work on getting things much cleaner, wider and bigger (a/b against professional tracks, this helps alot!)

I own a label and I don't even generally enjoy Hardcore or most electronic music for that matter.

And to be honest, everyone in here isn't realizing hardcore going in the shitter, with these crappy tunes with no drops that everyone's okay with. Honestly, I can't see anyone taking pride in a song that goes no where at all, especially with all of these really nice up-and-coming producers being influenced by the big name artists (like Gammer and recently Fracus & Darwin) making songs like this.

It sucks all of the talent out of hardcore.

The reason I'm in the hardcore scene?

It's easy to progress in. It takes a little over a year to become a recognizable producer, and after that, you're set.

I'm not even a GOOD producer and I own a label.

I'm just sort of rambling on now, as you can tell, but all I wanted to do was get my point across and look like a douche while I did it.

Whether or not half of this is relevant information is your decision.

I usually stay out of these things but....What an idiot! Seriously! Im not deluded enough to think hardcore is the greatest scene in the world and there is alot of terrible music out there that gets released, but theres also some great stuff!

I love the 'hardcore is going down the shitter/im involved in hardcore cause its easy to progress and in 1 year your set' IF ITS GOING DOWN THE SHITTER THAN THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IS IT!

Also what do you mean by 'then your set' you mean financially? If you do then you need a wake up call! Most hardcore producers struggle to get by on music and being in America I would say your chances are even slimmer!

Lets see if in little over 1 year you are a recognisable producer and 'set'. Afterall, you must be aiming for that, because if you are not in this scene to make money then why are you here? cause you said you dont like the music.

All in all, you are a douche, or rather the thing you shove a douche up.

Your so contradictory its untrue. You dont like hardcore and its going down the shitter, yet you are involved in it because its easy to progress in? Thats why the same people have been at the top of the scene for about 15 years and are still the only ones who headline big events, because hardcore always gives the new guys a fair chance.
Also, if you dont like hardcore and want to make some quick money and gain a fanbase or whatever, why would you be a little bitchy keyboard warrior about the scene? Surely it would be wiser to hide the fact that you dont like the music if you want to progress?
And dont go thinking you are the biggest douche the scene as ever seen....NO ONE KNOWS WHO THE HELL YOU ARE!

Although you have 21 friends on facebook, so you are obviously a likeable guy.
