Tracks like Sound Selektaz - Hero (Essex Boyz Remix) are simply an art to the trade.
If half of those tracks were out in the late 90's they'd still have been awful. People like Axel Gear, who I believe is Eupheion can do much better with music!! He's cutting himself short for a bit more cash, it seems.

Not really, but christ I didnt think it was that bad. Ive heard much better stuff.
The Blackout Crews 'Put a Donk on it', as poor as it really is, is far better, I'd say. Half of this album is just a vocal with an awful kick, terrible detuned donk and then a hands up melody.
Love how the advert is so piss poor, aswell, that the advertisers main voice cant even be heard!!

Engineering wise it is very professional, far more so than most electronic music (it would have to be to even reach the top 40 market), but musically it's terrible. Most actual 'Donk' though (as in not pop stuff) that i have heard is really poorly produced in both senses. The standard is actually worse than Hardcore as if that is possible.

I like some bounce/donk music as long as it's a bit original. Not a fan of slowing down happy hardcore tunes and putting a donk on it, old house tunes it works quite well on though!
