Hey guys, first post here, figured you guys would know what you're talking about. :P
Anyways, here's the animation with the song in it. http://dagobah.net/flash/saitama.swf I have a sneaking suspicion that the music might have been crafted specifically for the flash, though.
It's driving me mad! I've been hunting for info on this music for years. Please help out!

I dont know the song, but I cant really pinpoint the style either. Its one of the following; Gabber, Hardstyle, or Speedcore...
Was that Mr.Smith?? What was the meaning??
It kinda seemed like they were saying that they need to change the government or there will be suits all over and you wont be able to think on your own, music will be gone and then a uprising will happen... ???? Profit?

Hard Speedcore? Happy Gabber? LOL. Regarding trying to pinpoint a style? Why would you try? It's just a random song made by someone on a one off occasion probably, that isn't meant to be anything. The fact a song exists does not mean it has to fit into a genre :P I sure as hell don't make sure I'm following rules when i'm making as song to make sure i don't stray outside of a genre.
^ I think that's what you want! They're just act-in Japanese 'musicians' who made the song for the flash. the song is num1000 (512kb cache mix)
The style of music is older techno but sped up, bit like T99 etc. there is still a bit of a japanese fascination with that style of music.
The flash animation is about Saitama which is a place in Japan where a lot of strange news comes from. its generally seen as a boring place and quite uncool and spawned the nickname 'dasaitama' (dasai = uncool/out of fashion/primitive). on the japanese BBS nichanneru (2ch) it became a bit of a meme and generally people troll and mess around saying saitama is the capital of japan

Okay narrowed it down it's a remix of ????2000 (Saitama 2000) which was the music behind a saitama flash meme thingy. I'm pretty sure the remix on that flash is from the drumming rhythm game called ????? (Taiko no Tatsujin) look up some videos on youtube of it and you'll hear similar sounding music. It's just fast paced taiko drumming to pre-existing tunes hence the saitama 2000 remix.
Still digging for the actual tune on that flash though will get back to you if/when I get it.

This is basically a remix of music from a flash video in Japan called Saitama2000 but in gabber style or whatnot, I don't know much about gabber but you're not looking at a professional kind of musical artist here. That's about all I can offer you. TakuyaPROJECT did like a million and one remixes of Saitama2000 so you could look through them all if you want but you're not looking at an electronic music producer here or anything.
