Back on topic.
I've been giving this a lot of thought and aside form the likes of GYTM, TnT, Trackmaster, some stuff on Vacuum, some on Bassface & JTS plus a few other artists here and there who are really pushing the quality of the music and production and creating some really good driving tracks. The one person that really stands out for me is (yeah it's a surprise for me too) is Joey Riot.
I've not been the biggest fan of Joey's for the last few years but at the moment he's starting to push a totally unique sound/cross over of styles. Some how he's managing to cross hardcore over with hard style and it's working to perfection. It sounds so much better than most gabba, it's more energetic than most hardcore at the moment too. His hardstyle is really good too.
Check out:
Joey Riot & Skyva - I am the Law (he fuses hardcore, freeform & hardstyle all into one on this track).
Joey Riot - Braveheart (Sacred Mix)
