As i've said many times before, i think the Hardcore Heaven series for the most part was far superior to the Bonkers one, and this is no exception. Very good compilation especially Scott Browns mix.

Agreed. Although I have to point out that the United Dance compilations where on equal terms with the original Hardcore Heavens.
Also, not to forget the Helter Skelter compilations too.

I own "Hardcore Heaven Vol.4", and sadly to say, I wasn't too impressed with that album. Many of the songs sounded the same, and it just didn't seem like much effort was put into the mixes. But, that's just my opinion. I am still glad to own the album for my collection.

The one from 1998? I don't think you've been listening correctly lol. There is so much variety on it! The Bonkers comps from around the same time were just terrible. And yeah Mortis is right with other comps being on par, although i was just comparing to the other big name series as oppose to all CDs.

yeh, you've gotta love the old Hardcore Heaven series = ) got em all on CD & Vol 1 on vinyl although I have to agree with warped candy kid, the 4th one just really didn't do it for me either.
Also, I wouldn't go as far as saying they were better than the original Bonkers compilations. Yeh, they were awesome CD's but Bonkers just had that special something that no other Hardcore compilation has, or ever will measure up to. I'd say the 'Off yer Nut' series comes closer to Bonkers than HH but yeh, their all something else! = D
I wish they would relaunch the HH series again like they did a few years back. Those were great albums & still get plenty of play from me.
