It is though. It has a devastating dancefloor effect (and most of the voters are probably HTID ravers), the vocal hooks are extremely catchy, the whole thing is fresh and very well produced.

It's voted by the people so you can't really complain. If was voted by the industry types then it would be rigged.
I agree with a lot of them but I think Joey Riot should have maybe gotten best dj though as I've never seen a hardcore dj as technical behind the decks as him.
And best label I think it should have been Twister instead of Lethal theory.
Recon and Darren styles smack you like a bitch is an awesome tune. I voted for it, so glad it won!!! Good to see Electro Hardcore getting recognition finally instead of the same old rehashed Trancey shite.

1st of all, it's spelled Twista
Secondly, neither Lethal Theory nor Twista deserves label of the yr imo (i'm sure there are many on this site who will agree), but Twista would deserve it less b/c of the utter shit that it has been releasing this yr (mostly due to squad-e). re-con's stuff hasn't been that great this yr either
for me mostly i just don't believe much in a label who thought it was a great idea to put a terrible track like Never Leave You on vinyl

To all the people slagging off the electro hardcore, If you dont like then thats your opinion,but.. You obviously havent been to a rave where as soon as it builds and "DROPS" it goes off big time. So might not be for all, but it is for all the ravers!!! They love it!!
Its an amazing sight and feeling, when a track like Styles & Re-con like a bitch gets played and a couple thousand ravers go mental when it drops, i fully recommend having a look at a rave vid if you dont go out!!

yeah, have been, didnt like. just because a bunch of pill munchers next to me who have no idea whats going on are getting mashed to a drop that sounds and feels like bad sex - doesnt mean i'm going to sheep along with them
same goes for the godskitchen tent at GG this year!
(that wasnt a dig at like a bitch) just felt i had to say something, people like what they like, if people dont like electo-hardcore you should respect that!
