My university is having me throw a rave for the homecoming dance after party. Lineup is my
friend Chesh playing hardstyle, I'll be playing happy/UK hardcore and some club, then Leto
will be playing whatever he feels is appropriate.
Very small event, but if you're in the Chicago area and feel like listening to some loud music
and hanging out feel free to come from 10 pm to 1 am. It's happening in a bar, so if you're
over 21 there will be alcohol.
It's located at the X in the Herman Hall Union Building basement. Go in the doors, turn left,
and walk down the stairs, follow the sound from there. The big triangle is free parking if you
plan to drive. Anyone taking the L can get off right next to the big triangle (35th-Bronzeville-
IIT stop on the GREEN line) then walk north on
state street and so on.

Update: Those nazis cut our timeslot from 10 to 11, so now its Chesh and I playing a happy hardstyle back to back, then Leto finishing out the night.

It was all ages. Campus bar, so they can't restrict age they just have to have security checking IDs all over the place.
However, you didn't really miss out. The music was great, the speakers were amazing, everything sounded epic, but everyone was still expecting hip hop. Even despite my very thorough advertising an ELECTRONIC RAVE with happy hardcore, hardstyle, trance, and DnB with no hip hop listed anywhere near my ****ing fliers.
Someone turned the lights on in the middle of Leto's set...

If anyone wants to know what they missed, this is the set Chesh and I did. It sounded better there, somehow...
Or maybe it didn't and I was just high, you'll have to get Leto's opinion.
