Indeed :) Let's get some good covers of non-hardcore songs in here.
The first one that comes to mind for me is Rush Hourz by Fade, a cover of Jane Wiedlin's Rush Hour. This cover is actually pretty hard to find (it definitely took me a while to find). It's not even on Discogs, although it is in this site's database.
I'm not entirely sure what dolphins have to do with rush hour, but hey, young women, dolphins, and water go hand-in-flipper.
There's also Kaos & Ethos' Technorocker. I'm not going to lie, personally I dislike Balloon's original. I find it dull, and the breakdowns... unusual.

I forgot to mention Rapido - Insomniak. I'm not going to lie, I find it to be so much better than the original by DJPC.

Haha glad you said all that so i don't have to. Only thing to add is the resung vocals version by VG is much better, since the vocals are so much better.
