Some people need to really need to give it a rest.
Jon is a music producer, its his JOB, and while he probably does do it for the fun, he also has to make a living. This track has received alot of attention (probably to Jons surprise) and he has obviously seen an opportunity to get into the top 40 UK chart and is trying his best to take that opportunity.
There isnt a music producer on the planet who would say 'No thanks' to a top 40 charted track in a genre of their choice. Top 40 does mean more money, but for an artist it also means more and more people will hear your music, which is what all artists want.
I highly doubt Jon is doing this for the fame, I dont see him in the music video and his name doesnt even appear in the main song title, its just listed as Faction G (who is the rapper dude). So no one, except for the people who know Jon, will even know he had anything to do with this track.
Seriously, hes an artist trying to promote his music and that makes him guilty of dieing to be famous?? Give the guy a break! This is the first time Ive actually been aware that Jon had anything to do with the making of this track, as his posts on facebook have all been about this Faction G guy.
Its as though some people on this forum want to see talented producers struggle for cash and only sell 50-100 mp3s of a tune. No wonder hardcore music has become so stale when people are so quick to slate the people who try and push their music out to more people. I dont blame the ever growing list of producers for dumping this scene if Im honest

I'd say thirded but I've heard bunter bang on about it for so long that I know bloody everything about it.
This is a real situation for me, as much as I would like to help the dude out the track is crap and on twitter BB is antagonising the situation by telling us that we should get "rave music" back in the charts for the first time in X years. Sorry but how is all this crap about getting into a club got anything to do with raves? Seriously, this could be a really rubbish hardcore tune and I'd get it to help him out but this really goes against everything I believe in. FYI anyone else who thinks this music has anything to do with "rave" or anything like that I would like to say that the "names not down, you're not coming in" attitude in club culture is the reason people took to fields and warehouses back in the 80s and if it wasn't for that we wouldn't be sat here talking about hardcore today.
No I'm not buying it, it could be a 100% pop lady-gaga song or something and I'd get it, but not THIS track. Forget it. I was actually reading through that message thinking "Oh right I'll do this, where's the tune?" the moment I saw the URL I thought "No way".
