problem with kurt and joey riot (moreso kurt) is they go and bang out 30 tracks on serious sounds at a time and 28 are really bad or not worth listening to. The saving grace that makes joey riot awesome and definately not so much kurt, is the quality tracks he puts out every so often..

Gotta agree with ya, some of the tracks that have come out on LT really haven't been up to standard. Don't get me wrong, i'm a huge fan of Joey & Kurt & loads of their early releases, incl some of their new releases, are unreal & still get plenty of play from me. The problem seems to be that they sell so much studio time & promise that certain tracks will see release on their label when to me they sound half finished & rushed. A lot of them need more time & work.
A good example of this is with one of their most recent releases 'Kurt feat Sara - Soul of an Angel'. This had so much potential but instead was left sounding half assed & rushed. There's just no love put into this tune & it's like he wasn't even enjoying making it. They really have to watch they don't loose a certain standard with the LT releases or they could throw the rep of the label away. The first breakdown is god awful. See if you agree...

ooooh yeah that's not very good at all :/
Ah well, I have to say that I'm not a big fan of either, not because I think they're rubbish but because their sound doesn't appeal to me. I did like Joey Riot and MC Enemy - Deep Inside though! Thought the lyrics were quite cool and a change from the norm.

everything sounded out of sync to me on this track. and what i couldn't get over is how abruptly it stopped so that the breakdown can start. usually every1 has a much smoother transition to the breakdown, but that sounded very amateurish.
it has potential if they fixed it up. and yea definitely unfinished.

yeh, it's really not good enough, is it man? When you think of the mind blowing production these freeform guys are pushing & then you get tracks like this on the Hardcore front it makes it seem like they've been put together by Kurts 2 year old son.
I've always been a fan of the original trance version of this track & the vocals & melody have merged into Hardcore really well but overall has let me down badly. Again, I am a huge fan of Kurt & Joey but really hate to see tracks like this throwin onto EP's just to make up space. It's not on.
@ Vladel: yeh, probs for the best cause anymore than 45secs & you'll start to get angry.
