Very true. Trance was a force alright & was the peak of Dance music IMO hence why Freeform is my favorite kinda Hardcore.

i don't see hardstyle fitting into anywhere else better than hardcore, altho i don't think i'd want to associate jumpstyle with hardcore either lol. i think the majority consider it a genre all its own

Hardstyle most definitely is not Hardcore, good god lol. Although that just shows how bad its gotten doesn't it? Really shows how many people actually listened to Hardstyle before it came a joke.

mabey these days they have something in common. Their s**t!! But in their early days, very different genres & f**kin awesome genres at that. Greed & thirst for money has now ruined them both.

not so much because Hardcore's been given a 2nd chance & I think most of the main players in the scene have learned from what happened before.
There seems to be a lot more of the big names taking a back seat now & letting the young talent shine through, & not only that but teaching them tricks of the trade. for example Sharkey

Sharkey is one of the good guys though, always has been good for Hardcore & I have never had a bad word to say about him. He was half of the original Bonkers after all. Shame there is no Dutch Freeform though don't you think?
