No I mean incorporate the sound into hardcore. It's only recently become popular in this genre of music, mainly because of We Are the Vamps coming out and being so successful.
I'll agree that there's a lot of it, some of it is quite awful, however I think the good tunes really stand out and fit well in a set. I will always enjoy the supersaw lead stuff over the minimal stuff but I don't mind the minimal either. I think tracks like We Are the Vamps do it right, whereas some of the stuff coming out especially from the HTID camp is the most boring stuff ever.

Let's not use the term minimal please. The big, drawn out build ups leading to a moment of silence and then back to a super loud kick+bass groove comes from TECH TRANCE not minimal.
Minimal is techno. Think Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Magda, Shackleton (for the now more dubby stuff), the list can go on here, but I'm lazy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0i1Szq6GM8 (Minimal) Interestingly, the space that's left in minimal is disorienting and pretty awesome on a gigantic system. Also, the bass at a minimal show is louder than anything I've ever felt or heard (dubstep included). Villalobos is one of the best DJs I've ever seen. You might be able to equate that part of hardcore with this, but it's all too compressed and quick...no real space left. BUT, if someone can find me some hardcore like this, I'll be impressed. (The only example I can think of is something from Twisted Freq's label or something. Maybe one of Micken's older tracks).

i think some of this confusion arises because people take the words literally as a "New" sub genre
i mean these words are mostly used as adjectives to describe the music and can be applied to any genre (no need to start pigeon holing like crazy!)
vocal
happy
hard
speed
dark
funky
broken
liquid
etc etc etc, including minimal...i mean hardcore can be any of these things..but at the end of the day...still hardcore :)

The tracks use are suggesting are minimal like bassline road darren styles and like a bitch darren styles bang your head dougal and gammer on, do you love your hardcore - sy & al storm.
I would usually think of these as bouncy cheesy hardcore am I correct is that pretty much the same term as minimal or am I incorrect.

Not as far as I know. But what the hell do I know?
Also: calling something minimal hardcore is about as confusing as calling something hardcore dubstep but meaning it's hardcore. Oh wait...hardcore breaks and breakbeat hardcore. Shit.
The confusion arises when we use an existing term for a genre as an adjective for another.
Personally, I'll call this style ( la Gammer - Rippin) what it sounds like to me: Midgetgrindcore.

you do know that minimal has been in the dictionary as an adjective long before it was used for music right?

I think its minimal. Nothing sophisticated in there is it. The main highlight of the track is a simple kick and bass rather than a melody or something.
Minimal
Tech trance, do me a favour haha
Stop.
Calling.
It. (****ing)
Techno.
