Finally some fresh sounding hardcore. This marks a real change:

Its a track from Gammer & Re-Con called Manjari
http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hardcore/track/2489445.html

...and you can purchase it digitally. Progress indeed. Loving this track.

Let the bad comments and 'it was better in the 90's' posts below start....

I like it. No Trance rift, no female vocals. At last Hardcore is moving to a new direction. In some ways it has a similer feel to the early Dutch Hardcore circa 1992. But it does sound fresh and a very posotive move forward away from the Clubland style of Hardcore that we can now class as dated.

The 2010s has began!

Unfortunately it's probably only accidentally fresh sounding, but yeah good stuff.

Hard techno is the first thing that springs to mind. Maybe that will be the influence for hardcore for the next few years...

^ I actually want something the opposite more bouncy and happy, but I'm sure the 2 can co-exist!

Yeah its not bad sounding actually, the breakdown was really nice but it doesn't drop into anything spectacular, just sounds like a swarm of angry bees. But yeah I really do like that breakdown it has got a refreshing quality about it.

so this is the track that i've seen being promoted on my fb like crazy

i honestly did not like it. with gammer & re-con on there, i expected something a little crazier and different. it's not a terrible track, but it's definitely not some of gammer's best work imo.

Absolutely amazing tune. Definitely one of my favourites this year tbh.

love the house on 45 sounding riff. I could see this track getting a release of it's own with like 4 remixes on it...

This doesn't sound that fresh to me. The voices are a tad funny. Just a tad. Until you feel like this track maybe too drug fueled. I also don't like Gammer's approach with 3 minute long tracks.
