yeah, please tell a more full story or link us to the biased news version at least.
sucks, i've been to parties like that before. i feel bad for the girl, would be good to know the details surrounding that too (5 at once, or just the wrong one?).
i thought i saw someone die like 20 feet away from me at a rave years ago. turns out she was just kholing lying in the middle of the floor. but it was messed up to see them rolling around her rag-doll limp body trying to get a response out of her.

well a while back like a couple weeks ago some girl named sasha took too mutch ecstacy and died at a rave called EDC ever since then LA has been trying to ban raves for people under 18 so that night at uprise they announced to all of us if you are under 18 you got to go because cops are comming and basecly youll be screwed not alot of people left and the lapd straight closed it down =(

I doubt she died from too much 'ecstacy'. People writing these reports are clueless. Talk about a load of fuss too. Here they take the person away and the rave continues. Why freak out lol. ****ing stupid Americans/American laws.

okay EDC is NOT a real rave. when you have celebrities like lindsey lohan and the majority of the rest of the crowd being made up of everyday douchebagwearing clubbers, it's nothing but a big party where the majority of ppl there are for the drugs and not the music.
What is sad is that the promoters for this rave were in full compliance with the authorities beforehand, got all their permits they needed to have the place and worked with law authorities in order to make this rave successful and safe, yet they just got crapped on. They did change the event to 18+ earlier in the week as an agreement with the city council.
They broadcasted a radio show explaining the situation a few days before, and what might have messed up the whole thing is that a few ppl went out and protested on behalf of raves. A protest was to take place but decided to cancel it so that individuals can talk to city council directly. Unfortunately not every1 knew the protest was cancelled so that might've ticked off officials.

i dont get why you're getting into such a flap over it - its not like clubs and raves aren't shut down over here for the the same druggy reasons...police helicopters/officers dispatched to garden BBQ's because of suspected rave activity...legal highs banned with little evidence to back it up..
from what i read aparently over 100 people were hospitalised after the event.. :/
