Sadly I won't be picking this up. But if the CD is 100% free I won't feel so guilty if I find it 'elsewhere'.
I have a question though that I'm sure a few people are wondering, are the tracks split?

Massive tracklist. UK ravers are really lucky to have this!
I wish I could snag a copy :P
I think you can get Ravin Eye 40 free with orders from hhc.com store, IMO etc.
That's true, but this issue isn't up for grabs on IMO yet. I hope they'll put it up soon, It will give me a reason to make an order right away, I need a few things too.
This CD looks amazing, but it will be a slim consolation for the lack of new album releases for this summer. There is usually at least one good compilation that comes out around this time... Last year's The Sound Of Hardcore kept me going the whole summer, and I was still hooked on HU3 as well...
When is HU2010 coming out anyway? Wasn't it supposed to be this summer?

"I have a question though that I'm sure a few people are wondering, are the tracks split?"
Of course! It is, in every way, like a normal HU album mix.
Tracks are mastered properly before the mix is done, the resultant mix is properly mastered, split into tracks with CD-text.
The CD itself is a properly printed glass mastered CD, in glossy print cardboard sleeve (the best option to retain the standard profile for the magazine).
As with everything we do, deadlines were stretched and *again* I got to drive the length of the country to assist with packing (I did 2000 of them, fact fans!) and delivering the finished CDs to Fracus who then got to get them to the printers and help glue dot them into the magazine itself!
What matters most, at any rate, is that the finished mix is very fun and representative and hopefully will get more people interested in other things we are doing like.....
"When is HU2010 coming out anyway? Wasn't it supposed to be this summer?"
It's still Summer 2010, and the mixes were all completed a while ago. Whilst it's later in the summer than perhaps originally intended, the promotional opportunities afforded by Radio 1 and then the Ravin Eye CD timed too well.
With all of that out of the way, the new focus is to really get on the case with some new production talents and re-energise those slumbering, and hopefully lead all of this momentum somewhere cool
Anyhey, at the end of another longer-than-intended babbling session I shall close with "I hope you enjoy the CD".

You don't have to buy anything, it comes free with all of the Issue 40 Ravin Eye Magazines that are handed out outside events all over the UK over the coming months.
That all said, if you want to *guarantee* a copy or live outside the UK the best option is likely to order something from the happyhardcore.com store as you can get the Ravin Eye for free shipped with whatever else you've ordered.
If you're feeling particuarly amourous then purchase something HU related!
