You would think, what with me being in the scene since 1992, that I would be in the lists for awards more often, even if just in the "still not dead" category lol. I am surprised to be included tho, because I am not really part of "the gang".

If you you not being considered as a godfather of the Hardcore scene is possible, then anything is possible. And that is the very unusual situation. Literally one of the most senseless things I've ever seen. It wouldn't be so bad if you weren't considerably more skilled than many of the people gaining recognition.

Nice that Styles isn't up for another track of the year (besides that one with Unknown but it wasn't very memorable imo). Part of me wants to see his streak continue but a bigger part of me believes Building Shaker > Sorry. Whatever.
Track of the year was a bit hard for me, but I said Brisk & Ham - Fire & Flames. I love that one.
edit because this is unimportant and I don't feel like bumping: I see they added more tracks again. Shouldn't they have finalized the list before putting it up? :/ I would have voted for Sound Without a Name (can we abbreviate that to SWAN yet? lol) though I seem to be the only one who likes it..
Well shoot, it seems editing your post bumps the topic, so much for that

everything was better than Sorry. that tune was just plain terrible and it was a huge joke that it even won last year.

mc gazy-J is very good... he's a regular at TLI in manchester and I prefer him to all of the storms and whizzkids of the world without a doubt. they were very dissapointing actually..
Mc enemy is also vey good..
The best DJ for me has to be SY, i'm not a big fan of his music normally but my god can he make a floor packed.. i'm pretty sure his music is tailored to sound shit everywhere but a rave..
