True Hardcore can burn out all it pleases! I couldn't stand the stupid mc-ing over the tracks! >_<!!!!!!!
aww comon man, there was barely any! And it was always very short, and NEVER over any vocal parts or breakdown, but always on dry drum-kick sections. I personally found it added to some bland tracks like The Time Of Our Live and such... Some of the extendeds without the rhymes seem empty to me. Thankfully they didn't do a single touch of mcing over gems like Sacrifice (D&G Remix) & such.

I wish someone would give 95_was_the_time some attention in real life, then we wouldn't have to put up with this desperate seeking of it here. He said he'd never come back too, must have fallen on hard times, boyfriend dumped him? Found out he's adopted? Who knows. Poor little fella :(

Whens the next Clubland out? I thought Clubland was the biggest album? Bonkers has dried up and there is no mention of the other compilations. The market that these albums are aimed at download mtheir tunes off file sharing sites so there is no market for the now dated 2005 sound that Darren Styles and the other 'top guns' are trying to keep alive.

OK, there's a lot to cover here.
1) The next Clubland will be out in December, I should think. The same as it has been for the last six years.
2) Bonkers has dried up. In terms of the frequency of release, or the quality of music? I'd say that on both fronts, it's been less than satisfactory.
3) No mention of the other compilations. What other compilations are you referring to? My knowledge is no where near as extensive as other peoples, but off the top of my head I can think of, from recently, Hardcore Invasion, Hardcore Underground 4, Crush on Hardcore 4, Crush on Hardcore 5, Hardcore Addiction 3, Ravers Addition 4. All of which, in my opinion, are 'the tits'.
4) Clubland knowingly market there product at filesharers? This is one of the most stupid things you've said.
5) "so there is no market for the now dated 2005 sound that Darren Styles and the other 'top guns' are trying to keep alive." There is no market for commercial sounding hardcore because all commercial hardcore buying people fileshare? Can't even be bothered to explain what's wrong with that one.

Can't really tell you if it's 'dead' or not because I haven't got anything else to compare it to! I only go to hardcore raves/parties/events whatever you wanna call them. I have never been handed a flier for a hardcore party on the street before (apart from outside of events) so I would assume that the scene is 'underground'.
as long as you've got your ear to the ground as far as EDM is concerned you will know if it's popular or not. Right now dubstep and DnB is still the hot thing.
if I was to be brutally, brutally honest I would say no I do not like much about the scene at the moment.
crowds are full of people who all brought their clothes from the same online shop, anyone who isn't wearing casual stuff is wearing reflective jackets, same furry legwarmers, same neon fishnet, most of this 'cyber' gear.
music is too hard really. too hard and too fast. tracks being produced at the moment seem to just be "thump thump thump thump *sample* thump thump thump" or more of a stompy clubland sound. tracks have lost their happy which makes me sad :(
Nobody calls it "Happy Hardcore" anymore, it's just "Hardcore" now :( this "hardcore" is going hand in hand with the hard dance scene and the two will meet in the middle at somepoint no doubt. trax have a lot of emphasis on being "hard" and having a lot of bass, people will be more like "wow you can STOMP to this" tracks losing a lot of melodic vocals for samples of computer voices saying things like "I like it HARD" and so on.
The people are sound though! I can walk away from events at 6-7am disappointed because nobody played a song I like but I can have a laugh about what people said in the smoking area. No bad vibes :)
this is all opinion remember, you may look at it and say "wow that's brilliant!" for me, it's not my bag! You can find me in the old skool room partying like it was 1995 :)
