Noticed only raves near central london are tastey which have billy bunter and kevin energy every rave.
Yet other areas like birmingham and nottingham have quiet a few.
I was under the impression was stuff in essex and such.
Was it always like this or did it die off?

Are you just talking about Hardcore? There is hundreds or Techno, Hard Dance, Psy Trance, DnB, etc raves in London.
As for Hardcore - Raindance, Freeformation, History of Hardcore, SV Tranzmission, among others. ;)

coming from a london Dj we are small but a tight little crew.
Check out for Tasty ( coming this weekend) / History of Hardcore / Epidemik / Raindance / Summit / Ramdom Ravers ( coming in july) / Bangface / freeformation / Hiddencore....
and if your into your oldskool, jungle or dnb well then the scene just opens up to you! There is a few things happening here and then, feel free to email me if you want any more details mate

History of Hardcore is a fcuking superb night. Gutted I couldn't make this year's, but the 2009 event was superb.
As you say, though, there isn't much action in London, but what there is, tends to be very good. The Ballistic Beats boys usually put on a good night at Club Life in Vauxhall (think I've seen you play out at that venue actually Sc@r).
There's something going on tonight as well, isn't there? Can't remember what. Unfortunately I've just shelled out 600 for part of my holiday and I can't afford to go!

most likey! played at club life ( was the factory before ) very very very regulary and held and event there as well.

I DON'T THINK BIRMINGHAM HAS ALOT EITHER TO BE HONEST. PLACE I KNOW THAT LIKES ITS HARDCORE IS BLACKPOOL, HAS ANYBODY ELSE NOTICED THAT?.

Birmingham has a load, probably more than anywhere else when it comes to Hardcore.

You missed out! Was my fave rave this year :) loved it and can't wait for the next!
London scene seems really nice, had the pleasure of meeting some of the London crew at HoH and Ballistic Beats/White Noise :)
