Ha! I've got loads of this type of Music on my comp. Its' old stuff for me. Wonder why it's only just gotten onto Youtube . taken so long.
but yeah, if you like Makina, there's tunes like, check out
they've got loads of this stuff. the best tune is 'Atreyu' by Hard Nation (special artist)

have to agree on choonland about the track, it definitly lacks melody, but then it's more hard-base than regular makina

mmmm now that I recall... guys in makinamania.com talk a lot about the "base"
which is kind of like a rythmic tune with some neutral sounds and samples, and they use it to mix it with other more complex tracks, that way djs can mix together up to 3 tracks at the same time, almost like a mash-up, and thats why some makina mixes sound so F-cked up, with so much things going on at the same time, but it sounds cool anyway
... so maybe this track is a "base" and that would explain the lack of melody
