I have an old Rotterdam records tune from 1992, Armageddon - You'll never be mine http://www.discogs.com/Armageddon-Youll-Never-Be-Mine/release/21401 one of the version sounds very much like a donk. It samples and 80s pop song. It was released in 1993 but I have heard it in a DJ Paul set from 1992 which had a harder version with a hard kick, new for 1992. That version was the one I have but somehow the kicks in a nunber of familier tunes from that time where replaced with a hard kick. You will here it in my mix that I will have uploaded next week.

On wikipedia on the Bouncy Techno article it states a tune called 'Zanos - Donk, not prog (against-prog records, AGP008 1994)' but I havn't heard it. Bouncy Techno has been confused with Scouse/Bouncy House/Donk.

The term 'donk' is completely ambiguous these days so it's impossible to really answer.
