Hello

Darwin was, since I got into Hardcore, one of my favourite producers in the scene! One of his first tunes I heard was "It's a Game" and I absolutely loved it. I still remember when I heard this track. It was on the Australian Hardcore Show on June 11th 2008, in a 3 hour set with DJ Cotts and DJ Nomad. I also heard some other tracks by him in the same show, like "4 O'Clock" or "Paint Me in Sadness", but at the time I didn't knew those track were by him. I instantly fell in love with 4 O'Clock!

I know some time ago I made this thread called "Don't you think Darwin was better back in the day when he started?" (or something like that) but I probably didn't hear enough of his recent stuff to judge this. As some of you may know, I'm absolutely not up to date with Hardcore anymore, but I will change this soon! (and buy some of those unmixed CD, as I need more material for at least one 1-hour mix per week)

So now I feel stupid that I had created that stupid thread! Darwin seems to be a really cool guy (that's something that has nothing to do with music now, but more with his personality) and I appreciate him for giving me some of his unreleased stuff but of course also for everything that he has given away for free, which probably cost him a lot of time and effort to make (tunes like like his remix of Ayla, or Flaming June).

Some of my favourite tunes would be Hits You Like Thunder, It's a Game, Flaming June, Ayla, Like a Dream, Future Shock, Ready 4 Love, Come On Out, 4 O'clock, Let Me Be Your Fantasy, Urban Justice, Most Uplifting, Release Me, Takes You Back, Higher Forever, Let Me In, No More, Paint Me In Sadness, Sun Always Shines, Stereo Sonic, Rush the Stage, Flatliner and many many more

So yeah, I hope he reads this!

And now everyone say thanks to mister Darwin for producing so much good stuff :)

Yeah, he's an awesome producer. His breakbeat stuff under the alias Deeper Territory deserves a mention too; they're wicked.

And somehow I'm convinced that you can't mention Darwin without Entity. Whenever these two collab, it's always beyond awesome.

Yeah, Entity is great! I love that new Breaks mix of "When We Find Akanoyo" Or "Your Own Destiny" which I had absolutely forgotten to mention before (shame on me!!) such a great breakdown, I love it!

Now please everyone just say "thanks" and let's see how many pages we can reach?!
I never saw any fans thanking a producer for what he did for the scene! That's why it's time to do it now!

I'll probably show this topic to Darwin, to make sure he saw it, so he will see everyone who thank him!

THANKS !
Keep up the good tunes!

In my honest opinion, Darwin is the best producer and remixer I've ever heard. Everything he touches turns to gold and he has so much diversity in his sound and a natural talent far beyond that of anyone else. Darwin is probably the best thing to happen to Hardcore in recent years.

So thumbs up to Darwin from me!

Also agree whole heartedly with the statement about his colabs with Entity - those 2 are a perfect pairing and as of yet have not produced anything that is short of amazing. :)

i def agree with all of what y'all say!!!

Darwin's tracks, whether originals or remixes, always sound fresh, up-to-date, and they rarely sound alike. Most producers are stuck to one signature sound, but what I love about Darwin is that his plethora of talent allows him to be so creative that he pretty much covers every subgenre of hardcore!

With Entity, they are both unstoppable! Definitely one of the best pairing that hardcore has ever seen!

and yes don't be lonely is simply amazing! i would name other tracks that i love from him, but then i'd pretty much be listing everything he's done!

We probably need a new subforum for compliments and praise threads ;)

But yeah, Darwin's probably managed to cover every genre of happy hardcore there is. Although I love it whenever he's got breaks in his tunes.

I really like Darwin, he is up there with in my Top Artist catagory. I like how many of his tracks, I can find appealing instead of a hit or miss. I do wish he would churn out more cheesy tracks like his "Magical Rainbow", "Given A Vision", and "When The Sun Comes Out" tracks.

This.

If I were to make a list of my favourite tunes it would look like this, in no particular order:

Let Me In (Darwin Remix) (Best tune!!), Climbatize, I Know Where I Stand, When The Sun Comes Out (sooo uplifting!), Futureshock, No More, Heartbroken (Darwin Remix), Tonight, A Feeling (Darwin Remix), Promise Me (4 O'Clock), Musical Endeavour, You Are My Oxygen (HU4 version), Without Fear, Summer Of Love, Like A Dream (Darwin Remix), Flaming June (Darwin Remix), Come On Out, Rush The Stage........ GAAAAAAH! You see!?
