It has had it's time. It isn't 2005 anymore so the likes of Darren Styles need to stop living in the past. Saying that I listen to the 90s stuff but at least it was Hardcore back in the 90s and far more innovtive. Most of it sounds the same these days anyway

from one old skool head to another i partly disgree with this statement. Yes it WAS innovative at one point, but look at Bouncy Techno for example, its all the same, 100's of records all the same stabs kicks perc every. But it was the sound of the time and its energetic. Happy hardcore THEN jumped in and started using Bouncy Techno style synth lines and sounds and merged the 2 together.
TBH i dont like what hardcore is now, its too technical and glitchy for my liking, maybe in the next phase i'll like it, took a while to get into the trancy sound that came around 2000 ish and atm hardcore for me died in 2006, but it'll come back again lol just been milked to death by the same culprits yet again

I don't think any one individual can say that a significant style of a significant genre has "had its time". If CD, vinyl and download sales are still high, and if raves are still selling out, then one would be hard-pushed to justify such a comment.
I for one don't think it's had its time, or run its course (or however you want to put it) and I certainly don't think that it all sounds the same. I can't work out if you're trying to say there's a lack of variation at the moment, as in, tracks that are prominent at the moment sound the same as each other, or if you're trying to say that everything that's prominent at the moment sounds the same as everything sounded in 2005?
I think there's a pretty big variation of stuff around. Obviously none of it appeals to you, and I'd imagine that that's not very pleasant. Being not very pleasant, it's unlikely you're going to spend a lot of time listening to it - i.e. - you won't discover any variation, and it's just easier for you to say "It all sounds the same".
It's clear you don't like this style of hardcore music, or this 'imitation' of hardcore music - and you do show a pretty awesome determination in letting people know that. It's admirable. But it'd be a bit more interesting if you could come up with something more than "fcuk Darren Styles".

Lol yeah me too. I remember getting a United Dance tape pack mid 2000 and being somewhat dissapointed by the new sound. Although i love it these days! For me the last good Hardcore was in 2005. There was maybe a good song or 2 in 2006 but yeah that's all really.

Evo Gold is such an under rated label. Twisted Vinyl/Screwdriver etc are amazing too.

Even if pretty much every release did feature a Scott Brown remix :P I love the Evo Gold sound personally and always wondered why no one else i knew did, but i realised it's because it's more of a (far) Northern thing. http://www.discogs.com/Q-Bass-Uproar/master/64943 - Epic tuneage.

Well said! Disagree on most peoples views on this board towards modern UK hardcore.
Hardcore Underground Series... Its still hardcore, its still all good!
Agree that the clubland hardcore AATW group are ****ing it up a bit but they are making immature songs, clubland hardcore (Breeze, DS etc.) is happy hardcore that never grew up...
Hardcore Underground crew and all that camp are hardcore matured.
Hardcore Adrenaline:
Correct me if I am wrong but wasnt Seduction featured on these albums? If I am right then they should be brought back from the dead. I enjoy Seductions productions and mixing.
