What annoys me is this kind of irrelevant B.S.:
quote:No one will dare make a tune like this these days, it will only get the 'Old Skool tag thrown on it! Yet if people stopped making this style because it became 'dated' then at least we now know that the 'Clubland' sound should also give way as it is the same as it was 5 years ago!

aha, i didnt read it until now, yeah thats kinda lame.

I listen to them occasionally. He's even posted a few good ones

also - i dont think anybody said it in a "dismissive, get off the boards type way" if you read back at what quicksilver said
judging by the tone of the thread that seams to be exactly what they're saying.
As for people having a winge at smoogie having a winge about modern hardcore, the only member I can think of off the top of my head who hasn't made some sort of complaint about hardcore is trimms - and I havnt seen him around for a while.
Its refreshing having someone capable of free thought on these boards who wont conform to the masses. Where's 95 when you need him?

the "thread" was only 5 posts old when i said that - and it was directed at qucksilver who hadnt said it in a "get off the boards" type manner, having seen the way some people talk to other people on here what he said was barely even insulting
im not sure what you're trying to get in the next part, are you undecided as to which side of the argument you sit on?

What I was saying is that just about everyone has complained about hardcore at some stage so its a bit rich having a go at smoogie for doing the same. At least he stands up for his opinion

hmm but i was talking about quicksilver - who was commenting on the amount of youtube vids that he posts - nothing to do with the content of what smoogie said..

What does everyone think of the tune anway> The idea of this thread was to see what people thought of it, not to have a go at me for posting youtube vids lol

sounds the same as any other track of that time. i do like the old skool, but to me it all sounds more alike than the tracks coming out nowadays. there's more variety an options than there were 15 or so yrs ago.
all in all tho not a bad track except 4 the reggae in the beginning.
