I understood the question i just thought it was silly. Personally i don't think the kick-bass is the most the important relationship within a song. Surely what makes a track what it is is the relationship between the open hat and closed hat?

Hmmm too many to think off! A few tracks Ive listened to recently on my ipod come to mind.. Ham- Oldskool, and I love some of Scott Browns kicks from a few years ago like on Wakey Wakey and Life As We know it. Also Kurts kicks and bass always sound awesome.

Not a chance, what makes a track is the riff/melody... A pounding kick and ****ed up bass

This topic is silly? Pretty much every other topic that's posted on a daily basis is far sillier. The kick and the bass is a big part of Hardcore. Well it was, it's not anymore as they are so weak that it's just like house music really.

Disagree, I know plenty of good tracks that have a terrible Kick/Bass combination and for me it ruins everything. Mainly Quosh Records from 2006-2007 or DJ Storm tracks from 2003-2004! Future, Blinded, First Kontact, The Red Pill.. these tracks are awesome, but I think that Kick/Bass combination is just.. *ugh*
