I think both CDJay & Fracus said they wont be making another one.
We definately never said that! We just weren't commiting to a timeframe of when it would be; people were already predicting the lineups for HU5 and it was like 'hang on, 4's only been out for three weeks!'. We just didn't want people to assume that we'd be putting something else out straight away and before we were ready. We're always working on stuff though, as long as HU exists that will be the case. We have more releases and projects planned for 2010 than in any previous year thats for sure! :)

My mistake then. I could have sworn that on the PM that was posted on here or within the ensuing arguments that took place that one of you guys said you wouldn't be making another one or it was highly unlikley.

'Twas me, and I said that it was highly unlikely we'd put ourselves through anything like HU3/4 again as it quite literally nearly destroyed us.
HU5, should it happen, will have to be in our eyes a worthy addition to the series "proper". We'll spend 2010 working on it, but with no guarantee of a release in the same year. HU4 hit every target we'd hoped for and then some, which is all the more stunning as we had no money left to do things like... advertise it. Heh!
Anyway, I'm sure we can find things to do whilst that gestates. We'd certainly rather the series stopped at 4 than put out something that fails to match and complement what is already there. Hopefully with a clearer idea of what is practically attainable and a more stable platform from which to operate we can enjoy a freedom to experiment in ways that would have been counter productive in the past.

i seriously doubt that y'all can bomb the quality of a vol.5 considering that you had HU3 & HU4 released the same year and look how amazing they both became!
but y'all can take as much time as you need for HU5 i am just content knowing that eventually there will be another one!

Pay attention.... ffs.
:D
My original comment wasnt just aimed at my own label but a few more too ;) As Kev Energy said on FB, perhaps spaces should be watched.
I may as well spill our plans...
NSR2: Hardcore Invasion -- This will be Feb/Mar 2010, x1 mixed CD and x1 unmixed CD.
NSR3: (TBC) -- This will be Jul/Aug 2010 and will be x2 mixed CDs
NSR4: (TBC) -- This will be Oct/Nov 2010 and will be either x2 mixed CDs or x3 mixed CDs with hopefully around 500 copies made.

robbie longs cd was pretty good on that album :)
erm, Hardcore Junkies is in production i think. Commerical girl-on-cover cd though, so no idea how big it'll be...
we'll probably see a few new ones from Slipmatt and Bunter (god help us all)
Hu5 will be what I'm looking for. Maybe bonkers 19 (yes 19, not 2) and perhaps a hardcore nation 2010?
