I was on discogs today and saw something a fellow posted:

"Hixxy also remixed the legendary Force Mass Motion track Panic in 1995, but unfortunately it was never released to everyones disappointment! On the flip to said Dub was Hixxys other massive track - Thumper.

The 1995 remix kept a lot of the original 1993 version, but with a more techno feel (in the same vain as Toytown), but the most noticable difference is the 'slow-down' and 'speed-up' half way through the track.

Occasionally a Dubplate will appear on E-bay for outstanding sums of money, which by all accounts, knowing how Dubplates wear, could be considered a risk."

I this was true I'm sure it would be pant creaming good as I love the original, and Hixxy's productions at the time were spot on

anyone know?

I still want to hear the original "People's Party" by Him & Sunset Regime. On all the cds I have that track on, it says

Hixxy & Sunset Regime-"People's Party[Remix]"

That's the version on the Pure Adrenaline label.

Also, after a quick search on discogs, the earliest version of the song I could fine is the "Timmy's Bad Boy Mix" on RSR. So I imagine this is yet another case of Disney Vaultitis.

Where can I hear this classic? Hixxy did some grand stuff in 95/96. Hence why I named myself Smoogie, as Hixxy's tunes where called Smoogee...

That remix got played alot, it's in a load of mixes. I'll upload one for you, the one i'll upload is a good mix either way! I also love the original/Druid remix. He (Hixxy) actually played his remix at the last HTID i went to a few months ago which was wicked (brilliant set overall).

I know on the cd, "Battle of the DJs: Round Two", there is a mix of "Thumper" listed as "Unreleased Mix".

plus panic attack is pretty close to that (fluff mix? don't remember) and you don't have to pay stupid amounts for it =P

ps nice upload matt reminded me of lots of records I need to dig out and play with. don't know that I had ever heard brisk play on top before...samplemania, no more tears, disco hardcore, now is the time. man I miss this stuff

No, it is a hixxy remix he used to play around 2001, there is only one dub copy of it.
