Hey allz. Just got a Midi Cable that hooks to the USB of my comp and thru my synth. Its a pretty old synth YAMAHA DX 21, but im usin it as a controller for sequences. I neeed help!
i got it running on Reason and when i play keys on the keyboard, i get a delay, a very small delay but still a delay, anyone know how to fix this prob??

I've never used Reason, but if it's like most other programs there should be an audio setup menu somewhere. And in the menu there will be a buffer/latency setting (maybe a MS delay bar or somthing). By reducing the buffer size, latency setting, or ms delay you will increase the responsiveness of your controller triggers. However, if you reduce this too much and don't have a good soundcard it will cause digital clipping and annoying scratchy/crappy noise.
This should be described in the first chapter of your Reason manual. You did buy reason right? Heh...

yea i "bought" reason, i have the PDF manuel, ill try and figure it out, ill reply again to telly ou if it worked, but thanx a bunch man, respekts goes out to ya soren :)

Cool, glad I could help. Are you using reason 1 or Reason 2? How do you like it so far? I've heard the synth in Reason is it's only big weak point, do you find this to be true? How easy is it to use initially? I was thinking of checking it out if I ever get the time :)

Once again thanx man, Right now im using Reason 1, i might get 2 soon, The synth is pretty awesome, lots of presets, you can edit anything, I love the Sampler cause you can use wavs, At first its kinda hard ( i was used to FL) but after i got used to it it rocked, lots of features.
