No, the release date really was yesterday (Monday October 19), like many people have pointed out.

Exactly lol, if the release date was the 20th, HMV wouldn have had it on their shelves on the 19th

Yes, and more to the point, with the very rare exception, ALL CD and DVD releases take place on a Monday. Games on a Friday. It's how the industry works. :P

First ACTUAL review
So I have finally listened through the whole of the compilation......one word.....Fantastic!!!
Ill just list my 4 favorite tracks on each disc or this could be a very long post :)
CD1 – Fracus & Darwin (My Favourite Disc)
Favorite Tracks:
Darwin & Fracus Ft Ant Johnson – You Are My Oxygen
NuFoundation – Open Your Heart
Michael Mansion – Places We Go Through (Fracus Remix)
CLSM – Takes Me Higher (Remix)
A mix that gets better and better as it goes on for me, a lot of the strongest songs are towards the back end, from track 9 onwards its amazing!
CD2 – Brisk & Marc Smith
Favorite Tracks:
Spenno & Jess – Find Your Way (Petruccio & Modulate Remix)
Fretman & Darwin Ft Kyla – Summer Of Love
Stormtrooper – Phunk'd
Brisk & Vagabond – Hardcore Habanaro
As you would expect from two masters of hardcore, a brilliant mix, some real interesting tracks in there that deviate from the norm, with top notch mixing!
CD3 – Al Storm & Kutski
Favorite Tracks:
Bang! - Flowers Need The Rain (Al Storm Remix)
Shimamura – Hold You Now
Fracus Ft Taya – Next To Me (NuFoundation Remix)
Endymion Ft Nikkita - Abduction
Perhaps the most technically gifted disc in terms on Djing ability, these guys are on top of their game in this mix which is a journey through almost every style of hardcore, UK, Breaks, old skool, Gabba!
CD4 – Oli G & Lost Soul
Favorite Tracks:
Devastate – Mood Music (Oli G Remix)
Lost Soul – Ragnarok
Lost Soul Ft Dark Angel – Beyond Salvation
Solution & Ephexis - Requiem
Wow, an excellent disc, the first track is a perfect opener and it stays top level throughout, great to see tracks from the finrg guys on here. Its a real purist freeform disc with an abundance of talent both mixing wise and production wise. If disc 1 wasnt as immense this would be my favorite. I think this will spend a lot of time in my CD player as there are not many mixes quite like it.
Fave Track Overall:
Micheal Mansion - Places We Go Through (Fracus Remix)
Overall a job very very well done. Big up to CDJay, Fracus and everyone else involved cause you really have excelled again with this one!

sorry, i'll just cut my legs off that was a horrendous mistake/jokey comment to make. completly my bad, its been a really shit day today, started with that troll who hijacked acidfluxx's thread about HU4 and i didnt have time to read all this topic when i made that second comment - either way, people should stop bitching and moaning about play.com - it will be worth the wait.
cdjay and everyone involved have poured everything into this album i just feel a feedback thread requires some love, and not 3 pages of bitching about play.com and 1 review..
i'm equally looking forward to my t-shirt
*subtle reminder to everyone that you can get HU t-shirts!!*

I'm sure there would be more reviews if play got their act together ;)

After listening to every cd i can honestly say this is the best album i have now :)
even better than hu2 (my previous favorite).
review :)
Disc 1: My least favorite, but gosh this is a bloody good cd 7.5/10
can't fault it, just lacks a few stand out tunes like cd 2 has.
Disc 2: my style :) love it.. spesh 'ham - epic riff' 8/10
Disc 3: Boom.. this cd is ****ing awesome 9.5/10 espesh love the good rave breaks at the start, (Yeah, GOOD rave breaks, uber surprising...) and the slipmatt remix.. which royally made me cream when i heard it go into those amazing breaks.. better than the original and that's saying something///
that cd has everything though.. you don't know whats coming round the corner :) i.e typical kutski
Disc 4: creamage... 8/10 ambient angels - gammer.. wow.
just whacked this on and spaced myself out with some quality freeform.
OVERALL: 8.25/10
Really really good album. thank you cdjay!

lol fair enough - i just feel the HU guys deserve every inch of respect and it was turning into more of a feedback for play.com thread.
its been a long day...my 10 month old has a cold..which he passed onto me...work was long and didnt seem to end...and then..to top it off i get home...and my copy didnt arrive either lol
i love how HU feels like a big "**** you" to the mainsteam, while itself gaining more and more ground kinda feel that it was once "wow i wish i could get on a bonkers cd"...and now its "bloody hell, i wish i could get on a hardcore underground cd"
hehe
so yeah - feedback for hardcore underground, without having recived the album yet! :P

Fair point!
Maybe you could split all the play.com bitching into another thread? Is that possible on these forums?
FYI, most of us are only bitching because we know how good the CDs going to be! I love HU!
