Im working on a new mix and i have a few songs where at the end, the sound of the bass and kick change, im not sure if it sounds right. let me know what you think, or if its the "wrong" way to mix the tracks together.

All it is with the track you bring in is that a layer of the main kick comes in a few bars before the rest of the main kick thus sounding like it's two totally different kicks...because it is. If you feel it sounds bad either don't mix those two tracks together or just bring the second track in a few bars earlier. What you might find with the second track is it may have a 4x4 time signature but the track may not conform to the basic 4x4 structure regarding intro/outro.
