I'm very new to hardcore dance music, so I'm looking for recommendations. Pretty much all I've heard is REDALiCE's new album, Crimson Hardcore. I'm looking for more cheesy, melodic, deliriously happy hardcore like that, preferably with the same kind of J-pop influence.

It's a nice change from the dark, avant-garde stuff I normally listen to.

Sounds like you'd like a lot of the stuff they'd play on www.hardrave.jp, but if you don't want something Japanese then a lot of the old hardcore from the late 90s are full of cheese. I'm not a big fan of Cheese though so probably not the best person to ask about that.

Albums that I would use to describe Hardcore though are: "Hardcore Underground 1", "Now That's What I Call Hardcore", and "Bonkers 10".

Yeap they have like 4 different channels, but 1 of them is Oldskool Happy Speedcore so I'd watch out unless you're into it.
