I heard a darren styles acapella, and it wasnt impressive, and it kinda just boosts my oppinion that hes a really bad muscian.

I wouldnt say hes a bad musician. He was classicaly trained in the piano if i remember correctly he's actally a very good musician and producer. He just chooses to make shite like this. And he's a cack singer of course

um... well... a good musician knows what music to make.. hardcore (questionable), for him, is a bad choice :) ;)

Exactly, a good musician knows what music to make! Styles makes what sells and thats the clubland stuff... He wants to make money as its his career choice. No point in him makin gabba as it dusnt sell over, the clubland cack does

I think with Styles its a bit more complex than that.
He's been with Hardcore for years, he's made a huge name for himself, anything he makes in Hardcore is automatically garaunteed (sp?) to sell because "OMG its darren Stylez! hes well fit innit! i loved save me! its mine and my boyfriends song....at least it will be when he gets back out of prison after mugging that old lady of her pension"....... ahem. Anyway, yeah he's a huge star in Hardcore, but virtually (until recently at least) an unknown in the pop world. If he were to give up Hardcore and move into pop just like that (again up until recently) he would have fallen flat on his pretty little face. Nobody in pop culture would have paid any attention to this ponce in his white shirt and skinny black tie singing about nasty, filthy, stinking girls (or whatever that song was about), his music wouldnt sell and he'd come crawling back to Hardcore where his loyal fans would have greeted him with open arms. He would have known that and thought better of it, at least thats my opinion on the matter.
He is a good musician in the sense he CAN make music, he's a very good producer, he's talented, not very versatile but he's good at what he does (cheese - next level cheese). But he's also a good business man for sticking with Hardcore, thats where the money has been for him for so long.
Its not a case of a good musician knows what genre to make, thats business. He is technically a good musician. He just happens to make shit music, rather contradictory but its true even if it doesnt make sense and is an oxy-moron (woop finally have an oppertunity to use that word )
And if it doesnt make sense tough im not writing any more in this post, ive wrote too much already and when i do this i start to forget what the point i was initially trying to make was and end up babbling so im stopping
*sits back and wonders if this multi-quote can outdo the last*

WHY did they not use the full vocals in the Hardcore version?!
The reason for that being, when S&B made that remix this was the orginal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHz7pzBM0Js and i doubt that would off sounded good This is just a clubland reshit, breezy's face when hes getting out the lambo at the end lol

Wow, this original version of the vocal is actually much better than the B&S re-sing! I want this whole Yasmin K vocal, chrous AND verses, in a brand new trance-core version right now! :P Also loving the spanish mandolin and castanets, I wonder what that would sound like at 175 bpm. And wtf, this video is even more random than the B&S one! priceless XD
