Hello loyal HHC fans,
As must of you on IRC know, I listern to the hhc stream almost 24/7. And really am getting tired of the same old repeats. I can almost set my watch to what choon will be on at what time and its really annyoing.
Its pissing me off that much that iv started listening to gabber (*gasp*) on repeated choons.
Can hhc maybe start putting some of the old live shows recordings on the stream?
I honestly believe the quality live mixing of live shows such as: NAHM, Aussie Hardcore Show and Swedish Candy show should not be just throw to the side like a used bit of meat, but instead replayed.
Sure it does not have to be the same week or even the same month as the shows recording date, but replaying the live shows would spice the stream up a bit.
Not to mention the shows normally go for a few hours a piece, and great audio entrainment.
In no way am I taking a dig at HHC, just having a discussion on the matter is all. :)

Totally agree with u mate. The same mixes/tunes over and over! Great idea to play the old mixes

Unfortunetly you ideas are great but its the damn licencing issues.
I would suggest this on the live streams nicely: STOP playing the same crap over and over again. Yep, Essential platinum 46 to 55, it drives me nuts.
What would I change? One Word is Variety
Dont repeat the tracks week after week, play something different each week. Hit up some freeform, a little good cheese, that little bit of gabber at the end of a set for example.
Preparation is Key :)
I am not trying to stab any DJ that DJ's live at all, I would like to hear the good music that was on the internet air waves back in 2004-2007 here on hhc.com
No wonder the Uk Hardcore Show was a success on here back back then. Andy Myers always played something different.
As I said Before, I want to see a change in variety on the Live Streams and the radio :)
Mix the old with the new and all will be good on here.

i thought there were lots of DJ mixes played on it..? surely there are lots of different ones?
perhaps i should kick myself in the arse and submit a few, is there much scratchin goin down on the radio?

Not much scrathin no tbh... Theres a bit. To submit a mix u have to do it via www.di.fm

It comes to me anyway so you can submit direct to me if you want.
To answer the original question, live shows are live shows, nothing to do with licensing. If you dont listen to them you miss them I'm afraid. They are special like that. There are somethings we are working on at the moment that could possibly help you out.
