Has anyone ever been able to find a place that carries Japanese Hardcore/Hardrave/(lolicore?) records that also ships to the U.S.? I've been searching for a while and I can't find any stores that are still shipping to the U.S. (Hardrave.jp doesn't carry vinyl anymore). Rave n' Beats Japan is dead, and Juno doesn't carry Hardcore from Japan (but boy do they love to carry the Jazzy stuff). After Sharpnel finally came stateside I thought there would be a wider recognition for the genre, but it's still as hard to find as ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated (There's an anime shop near my house that carries dance records but I've been afraid to go back in ever since he's turned it into a "catgirl maid cafe"...)

I may be wrong but isn't most stuff from Japan released on CD & not Vinyl?

Don't know if http://www.guhroovy.com/ still sell records. I've bought from them before and the records are always good quality.

Bit of thread-jacking i guess but, where can i find releases from Japan on mp3/WAV? Heard and bought a few tracks from Shimamura and would like a few more tbh. Looking at Mortis here

Simply put one of the most embarrassing places to be. Also does Guhroovy ship to the U.S.? The translating tools make the English so broken I can barely understand it.

Guhroovy is good, but you'll need to e-mail them to get an order in and it might take awhile.
mydjsobad is pretty much the only US carrier for Japanese hardcore.
drfreeclouds also stocks afew but mainly dj sharpnel. (they recently just got sharpnel's newest release. guy came with a gang of cds, haha)
j-core.biz is pretty much official english guhroovy site.
yahoo auction japan is also good, use a proxy to get items. i was able to get a shimamura vinyl.
their vinyl scene is pretty much dead, shimamura had a lot of records released in the past, as well as a few others i suppose.

I was hesitant about saying this but a lot of people still refer to it as that, I had to constantly say it to get my hands on Oto no Ishi 1&2. Never again...........
Sad to hear their vinyl scene is dead though, I'll always prefer records over cds/mp3s!

tbh ordering from guhroovy is quicker. My first order from mydjsobad went fairly smoothly, but the 2nd time was horrible. I placed the order 3 months ago, and it's first shipped throu UPS yesterday!
Guhroovy might need 2 mails for them to respjnd, but i gladly wait a month instead of 3.
Anyways, MEathed, we had Digi-Up, but sadly they closed doors last year. Most of their tracks where only sold for 90 days, and before they closed down, all the tracks where on sale for 30 days
