Haha dude, I use compilation tracks to mix too! It's way more difficult obviously but at the same time is way more cost efficient... I only have CDJays, not vinyl... not to mention Juno never seems to have anything I want and the IMODownload search never works for me!

and did i read you like uk, hardcore gabber and hardstyle?...well you should come out to my gabber party the night before purple heaven, and on june 10th for a FREE hardstyle party (pre-launch party for a new company im in)

Mixing from compo CD's wont get you any DJ gigs, in fact I've seen DJ's kicked off or CD's ejected and smashed for playing tracks from compo's....

I get the feeling you don't like me Silver :( And thanks lots for the comments all. I do a good job for compo cds though. Plus if anyone took my cd out while I was mixing a set, someone is getting knocked out. I do it to my friends at home if I have a mix going I like.

you mix well, you have talent... but silver is trying to tell you something you are willingly overlooking?
you're mixing with pre mixed cds lol.. get with the scene kid. you're playing the tracks of elite musicians. this isn't your mtv top 10 crap. have some respect for their work. and respect for the people who made/mixed those cds. don't steal their work.
it's like going up to a dj at a rave, recording what he plays, and mixing it later as your own lol.
that does sound fun though haha. get some of that PROMO only sh*t. that's the good shizzy. =P

I have just started purchasing full tracks a little while ago. I'm not overlooking what they are saying at all. I even put in my original post that these mixes sound rough because the fact I'm mixing with premixed tracks. There's no disrespect to Silver here. I obviously have respect for the artists I am playing. I am a producer myself
