I only listen to Jungle for mixes because I hate listening to another version of Hardcore than my own... I love my Style sooo to go out and buy Hardcore CDs bores me to death, I love Hardcore Production but as for Track Selection, I like my own style, not someone else's, I listen to Hardcore mixes that are free but I never buy mixed material, no matter how dope a CD it is... It's wierd, I guess, but I can't stand mixes unless it's me... It's not like I'm arrogant, I just want to hear my style because I'm bored with other DJs, noone sucks but I can't see the point of throwing a bunch of stormers that have no technique or meaning to me... I'm just saying I listen to other styles but as for Hardcore, I mix for myself! =)

Another thing I do is listen to mixes that I actually have a Connection with, like System Recordings, Myspace Friends, and if its Jungle, its Local or DJs I know (Snuggles, 3D, JSK, Goldie on NWU's Radio Station, etc...) Underground to me is like that, doing stuff that noone else can immitate! And as for Radio, I listen to Pop (Hip Hop & RnB), and the Techno shows at night! I listen to everything, but spin Hardcore! I'll drop a mix on you in May (I'm putting 4 Hours into it so it's perfect; no clipping or trainwrecks) and you can see what you think... But even if you hate it, I love my mixes just because I make em' for myself, and if you're an artist, you know how it is... I mean I used to purchase Bonkers, Hardcore Heaven, H2bH, but why buy another DJ's mix when you can spin your own way! =)

Sorta =D
I understand what you mean, I do enjoy listening to my mixing quite a bit more. I listen to mixes so hear the DJ's mixing style, not to listen to a track I haven't hear before. So if the mix is nothing but rinsing one track after another, the mix means nothing to me. A DJ's style must shine through their mix!

i often listen to mixes just to see wot new kinda transmissions i can add to my own style.. sometimes try to combine then.. i mean i been changing my mixing style several times.. atm im more or less of the break transmissions :) love then.. but better not do that to much else it gets kinda boring to listen the whole set =]

Yeah man why not? You might find a track that you love that you might have overlooked otherwise. :)
If you're eclectic enough in style anyway, it shouldn't make much of a difference on the way you mix.

Last I remember you put a mix on here and it sounded really bad! i only went through like 3 or 4 minutes into it and i immediately deleted it
i hope that you have improved on your skillz

Lol, me ?! You must be dreaming, you're the first one who told me he didn't like it. Everyone else told me it kicked ass ! Really bad lol, perfect transitions, tunes fit perfectly together, artists like Squad-E, Dougal, Gammer, Stu Allan, S3RL, you're either a pussy who listens to DJ Rankin or you have absolutely no idea about Hardcore and DJ'n.

Yeah, I don't have a new mix coming til May... And even then, I'm putting a lot of time into it, 4 Hours, maybe a week!, My earlier mixes were shit I just threw together, my selection changed! I'm not putting anything out that isn't good!
