Thank you!
And would you be able to possibly recommend any other early happy hardcore tracks in this anthemic four-beat vein which sound similar?
I have always been amazed at the selection which Dougal chose for this set, when it was obviously played at such an early time in the hardcore scene. When lots of DJs were still playing old school style hardcore.
I have always admired Dougal for always clearly demonstrating the preparation that went into his sets.

Are you new to Hardcore or just never been big on tune names? I ask since alot of the ones mentioned are very common names :>
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9Lvsn9XPNU&fmt=18 Older mix of the Panic tune, that actually was released (Druid remix) :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXNwWNDxwcQ&feature=related - Original. As for recommending Hardcore tunes like you suggested, well, there is far too many to mention. The best thing i can really suggest is listen to other DJ sets from the same time, that's by far the best way of accessing those tunes. Also by doing that you get to hear all styles played not just specific songs. If you have trouble finding those though add me to MSN, and i'll be happy to send some your way ([email protected]).

Hi Matt
Thank you for the advice on finding more music and for those Youtube links.
Thank you also for so kindly offering your email address. I think I remember you more clearly now. I think we spoke at length on several occasions on MSN 3-4 years ago. I think I might've even sent you this Dougal mix at that time, asking you for help with track IDs. I have been looking for these IDs for that long, that it really is a wonderful gift to receive them on this forum now!
During our conversations, you also kindly explained to me the origins of DJ Stompy's 'Come and follow me'. I was delighted and amazed! More recently, I found Stompy's own special remix of that song which I had been seeking for so long. Stompy eventually released it, after so many years, and it is HTSE003!
I will definitely add you to MSN, and it will be great to chat with you more about hardcore again very soon!

It really is a brilliant list.
But I suppose it will require a little updating, once the name of this original remix of Tin Tin Out's 'Always something there to remind me' has been found.
Did Silver say that he knew this original remix from his own record box? I would love a name for this original remix - ie not the more recent '69' version, by Breeze and Styles!
Please help, Silver!

Nr. 07 sounds like the DNA Remix of "Lovetoy", but I could be wrong...
