looking for a track with the following sample in:
"it's four o'clock in the morning and it's starting to get light"
last heard it on a dreamscape tape a good 5 years ago.
any suggestions?

There are quite a few songs with that sample in it...the original is ORCA5, and lucky spin did a remix LSR005. I know there is also a more recent rmx on hectech HTEC026. Plus a few more that I'm not very familiar with but I'm sure that everyone on this site will know.
BTW: the title of the song is 4am.

The sample you are talking about is taken from the Beverly Craven song Promise Me. It has been sampled in happycore song 4 O'Clock In The Morning by Slipmatt, and there is also a good trance version under the same name by Lazard. There are quite a few remixes of it.
