I'm uploading an animated .gif, that's correctly sized, but after it gets uploaded it becomes a a static jpg. Why? Other members have animated avatars.
This is what it should look like:

its to do with actual file size as well...cant be over 23kb i think...though might be less than that - that one is 25.414kb

I uploaded a 20kb, version but it still doesn't work.

Make sure it's less than 100x100 otherwise we'll re-size and convert it to jpeg.

well,
just uploaded one that is only 5kb and 90 x 90 as my avatar..
..so i think its safe to say the system doesnt let us have em anymore.. :(
it should he showing this..

i happen to know that without his moving avatar rayovac's head will actually implode in on itself...and then explode with a massive shockwave that could actually cause japan and half of europe to become instantly fuzed with russia - creating some sort sub-mutant-freek-hardcore-trance-jcore genre...
...that would effectively leave hardcore in ruins.
