Please god I hope someone can help with this, it's wrecked my head for years!
Back in 1996, I used to listen to a pirate radio station in Blackpool, and they always used to play this track,
it was happy hardcore, with a sample of a voice in the middle going "ooooooooooooooh yes" - then it'd break into a melody, with a woman singing i think....
anyone have the slightest clue what I'm on about ?

Mate I cannot BELIEVE you got that from the crap I typed!
I read that back and it made no sense to me at all!
By the way - you're an absolute legend. You would not believe just how long I've been looking for that track.

The station died years ago unfortunately.
It's just one of those itches I've been dying to have scratched for years. I've had a bounce about on google so many times, wondering how many "o"'s I should search with haha.
