Firstly i'm sorry for posting this again but i must be in mong mode because i can't find the original post but remember seeing it a while ago. Anyway has anyone found out what track 9 on Bonkers 1 is? It's down as Highlander - Hold Me Now (Bass D & King Matthew Remix). I'm not so sure as it sounds like none of the other mixes at all. (Except the very end part) Is it me being stupid & it is correct or is it some other mix? Can anybody help me out please?

I don't know which version it is! The vocals don't kick in until the next track which should be Bass D & King Matthew Like a dream which kicks in at 1:01!
It would be good to know which version it is at that is the best version!

I think I did ask about it before, I know of the original version, a Bass D & King Matthew version (that is differnt) a 1997 version (similar to the Bonkers version) & I belive a Bass D & King Matthew version of the 1997 version but I could be wrong!

Ya! I remember this topic! I am still puzzled about what track 9 is at the beginning, with the little twinkle-sounding melody.

It must have been released to people though as Ihave heard it in a mix once & there is no way they would have just used the Bonkers CD for it! Maybe it was a limited promo? I will hunt around on discogs...

it's not bad if you think that clashing keys, double beats and generally bizarre mixing all round is cool....
i have the up most respect for hixxy as a producer/remixer/event organizer/head of a hugely successful record label but his mixing leaves a lot to be desired at times
