I need some help, I have not been able to upload an image for my avatar, it always says ERROR, I've tried to change the resolution and all that, but nothing happens.....
anyone knows what I have to do?

are you tryin to up an image off your hard drive or from a URL?

Needs to be a JPEG or GIF. Make sure the JPEG is an RGB one jpeg, all else fails email the image to me [email protected] and I'll check it out.

Can you email me the JPEG anyway I'm sure other people will be having a simular problem if you are and try to avoid the same problem again.

I got the jpeg, thanks, the problem was the filesize was larger than we allow. The DPI of the JPEG was also 80DPI which was pushing the filesize to around 50k. I re-coded the avatar upload to do automatic conversions from CMYK to RGB and downsize to 72DPI, I got your 55k image down to 3k after re-converting using the upload tool :)
Most people don't really know how to set DPI and stuff on a file so our site will now do it automatically for you.... so in short if you upload that file it will work now :)
