By the way you aren't supposed to post War3Z links here I think. Maybe im wrong though :)
Oh and Cubase is great! (With a Soft/Hard Sampler and a Synth)
EDIT: Oh yeah, addressing the "Big 3":
Sonar: Really easy to use. But it's kinda a toy compared to Cubase and Logic. OK, for starters, but why not just learn something good in the first place?
Cubase VST: Easy to use. Has a lot more potential than Sonar. Cubase SX is coming out soon for PC and Mac OS X and should be way better than Logic (Till they respond with new software) for the Techno producing croud.
Logic Audio Plat: The top of the line software sequencing/composing package available right now (till Cubase SX comes out for PC in a month). Hard to learn, but has tons and tons of potential. It's actually proabably too complex for what 99% of people will do with Techno. But if you are that hardcore 1% power user it's great.
