I've been using this site since about 2002, the rules have been pretty much the same since then. So dont really know what you're talking about. Can you give any examples?
As for the filter on swear words, its used on many forums. Its not a matter of who its aimed at, its about who might read it. Personally i dont care either way.

Thanks for the prick remark, I'll take that one with me, I really love your effort on this site, much to be commended in that comment. Love the fact it costs you nothing to use this site yet costs me personally thousands to run this site and you have to nerve to call people doing a job for free for a music they love pricks.
Like most forums, nothing has changed, we lock or delete dupe topics, delete filesharing, edit tracklists (due to copyright holder complaints), move topics to the correct areas and have swear filters in place. I'm guessing your anger comes from the fact you posted a general post to your site, we are getting to many "check out our site - click audio at the top of the page and press play to listen" type posts, they are just adverts for site (ie. spam) too much of it gets unmanageable, we move all of it to other the other website promotion section. If you have a mix, news, clip, sound bite, picture of your mother, anything! to post, post directly to the mix or item or the page it is located on - it wont effect ANYONE posting clips, news, mixes etc, just to site spammers and link baiters.
For our policy on the forums, I invite you to go try you post on another site the same material, the will delete your post, ban you, heck we don't even ban people for saying they hate hardcore or happyhardcore.com or whatever. Try that on another site, infact goto AATW's forum, tell them you don't like their music and watch how quickly the post gets deleted, then come back and talk to me about how much we "edit" the forums.

My mix DID link directly to the Choons.net page where it was located.
I do not own choons.net and never have, i am not trying to promote it, i am merely trying to get some exposure to my mix by posting it here, like i have done on many occasions with no problems.
I use the same code generator for every mix post i put on here, and non have been moved except this one, twice.
Ok, I may have gone off the handle a little bit but little things like that are so anal it annoys the shit out of me.
I apologise if Ive offended you.
