Yes it is, you just have to work really hard to get into a position where you can have a fun job.
At work today I went to see the first production quality F-35 Lightning II fighter plane in existence. Well, the back end of it.... and it doesn't have the engine fitted yet, and a few other bits and bobs, but still, it was pretty cool!

Aye have to agree with that. I used to work in dixons call centre in the complaints department, basically takin abuse off people for other peoples f*ckups for 10 hours a day.
But our team was quality about 70% female to 30% male, oldest jus over 30 and all some laugh. Ended up goin ravin with couple of the lassies up at sanctuary and Dave took us to allkindsa football (chelsea, england) and introduced me to his mates. Was right what i needed after just movin hundreds of miles away and we're plannin a mission for an old firm next season with them lot to glasgow will be quality.
Nearly every other job i've had i've hated and is jus cos never got along with people, but that one and when i did painting were spot on and even though work was either borin or jus pish it did mean you didnt mind going in.
But however much you like your job, college or whatever it cant make you enjoy getting up in the morning. Thats the one part of workin i think everyone hates.

work is shit full stop! but you make your own fun! that keeps you going! every job is different! but you either suss it or f*ck it! The suss it people will know how far they can get away with, without getting into trouble! the f*ck it people will hate others getting away with it (because they can't) so get more pissed off! Burger King but only part time, get yourself on a 3 until 9pm shifts. Then you don't have to get up early and you miss most of the cleaning at the end of the night and can still go out ( So get a busy one in the town centre ) where they will be so desperate for workers they will agree to the shifts. Then come 9pm on weekends you can get changed and bang into to town.
I also enjoyed KPing at little resturants ( must be a staff you like working with for same reasons as BK ) Usually you can get jobs done quickly and because everyone else hates washing up ( if you are good ) they leave you alone to get on with it. If they don't respect that, leave for the place down the road, there is always another place down the road and sooner or later you will find the right one. I admit I am more of a back kitchen guy to Till work ( which I hate ) as it means I can play with water like a kid and think about plays I want to put on stuff I want to write and listen to music I like.
