Champions League predictions:
Liverpool 1 Barca 1
Chelsea 2 Porto 1
Man U 3 Lille 1
Arsenal 2 PSV 1 (after Extra Time)
Hopefully the score are something like that anyway
I'll go for a few whacky ones:
Liverpool 1 Bracelona 3 (Barcalona progress)
Chelsea 2 Porto 0 (Chelsea progress)
Manchester United 0 Lille 1 (Manchester United progress)
Arsenal 2 PSV 0 (Arsenal progress)
AC Milan 0 Celtic 0 (Celtic progress)

Oh shut up woman!

Ok here goes...
Liverpool 2 Barca 2
Man U 4 Lille 0
Celtic 1 AC Milan 2
Arsenal to go out, Chelsea to get thru.
In general I will agree with that point about the top players and their influence however Arsenal beat Liverpool because the nob also didn't field a decent side either, then left it to late.

Quite easily actually. Pissed up fans forcing their way into the stadium is what caused the crush. The police were concerned that violence was going break out so they opened a set of gates which were supposed to be used as an exit. Even more Liverpool fans rushed into the stadium through that "exit" killing their fellow supporters.

We were punished for the Brussels disaster
All English teams were punished because of the Liver****s.

think of man u's when half their died in a plne crash in the 60's.
The Munich Air Disaster was nothing to do with United fans murdering other fans and their own was it. An accidental plane crash can't be compered to any of Liverpool's tragedies.
COME ON BARCELONA!!!

Really suprised Arsenal are out, and Celtic put up a heroic battle!
Anyway, whoever draws PSV, that's surely a one way ticket to the semi final? They will be considered the weakest opposition.

Bad luck Celtic, a truely heroic performance in Italy deserved at least on penalty for that handball.
So..then there were three and one of them has won it 5 times.
Rise, Sissokko, Gerrard, Carragher, Bellamy and Kuyt the past? I think not
^^^^u got 2 things very wrong therem, but the others - spot on. brilliant performances from risse n bellamy n especially carragher.

Yeah, i'm well gutted Arsenal r out. Wot woz Hleb on, givin a needless freekick away in such a important time in the match, anyone could see that was the only way they were gonna score.
I knew Arsenal were out after the first leg when they were beaten 1 - 0 in Eindhoven. Arsenal haven't got the resilience like Man U or Chelsea to recover from even a small lead as 1 - 0. They never have. PSV r shit bastards, they only had 3 shots on target in total over the 2 legs. But you have to say fair play to them because they progressed and their negative game plan paid off.
I agree everyone will be wanting a draw against PSV in the quarter finals. Liverpool or Chelsea will win it this season or maybe Bayern Munich.
If Arsenal r to compete for the premiership & Champions League next season they have to get rid of Ljungberg, Baptista, Flamini, Aliadiere, Senderos and think about buyin a wordclass striker to partner Henry and eventually replace him. I think it's about time we started spending over £10 mill in transfers and started buyin established worldclass players. David Villa, Torres, Ribery will do for a start.
