ye sure not far off;

Hillsborough: 96 fans, most liverpool, crushed to death youngest bein 14 years old.

Lille: not a single fatality.

i'd say it were about 96 lost lives away from bein another hillsborough.

Well, now Lille are supposedly shifting the blame on the possibility that many United fans purchased fake tickets, therefore there were too many supporters in the stands. If you ask me, Lille should be disqualified from the competition. The French police where violent and hypocritical of the Manchester United fans, when Lille where disallowed their goal the Lille fans then became hostile and started throwing objects onto the pitch, which was a serious danger to players. Also the French police decided to use tear gas on Man Utd fans, and this caused a few players on the pitch (mainly Van der Sar) to feel the after effects of the gas. And on top of the that, when United scored a goal (which was a fair goal in my opinion) the coaching staff urged the Lille players to refuse to carry on with the game! It should be clamped down, UEFA can't just turn a blind eye to all this, but in the real world, Lille will get a small fine. More should be done.

from what i heard about the goal, i dont think it was fair - within the rules maybe, but poor sportsmanship

Why? It's only 'controversial' because Lille let it happen, any team that knew what they were doing would either have had someone lingering near the ball until they were ready or just asked the ref for the whistle. It's good sportsman ship imo, clever, if any team got that opertunity they would take it, and rightly so!

Lol no it is not me!
It's a guy called Wentworth Miller (Michael Schofield) and he stars in the hit US tv series Prison Break. Channel 5 Monday nights give it a watch, totally gripping
