I was just wondering could anyone explain how they work, you know, do you buy rolled spliffs or in henrys or grams and what different varietys of shit they sell like cakes and so on and is it legal to take weed out of a cafe. Thought id ask cause a couple of my mates are going to Amsterdam(well jealous) and they dont really know.

Can buy pre rolled but best jus buy it in grams.
You go in, buy a drink get a menu, decide what you want and how much and they serve you.
Simple as that

You can't just walk around the city smokin reefer tho. You gotta be in a coffee shop or at home or in ur hotel room or something.
And now they're dead strict on i.d'ing people. I went when I was 16 and had no trouble gettin weed in a decent amount of the cafes but from what i've heard its a lot worse now.

Yea you cant just walk around smokin, needs to be inside somewhere! I got ID'd in the Doors bar/cafe along woith my mates who are all 24, well strict, prob one of the best place's to chill, smoke and drink IMO.

Must admit I never had any problem getting ID'ed when I was over there... Guess it depends where you go. We quite often just chilled in a park to have a spliff and no one seemed to mind.

From what i've seen the dutch police are very tolerant of people using most drugs, only really people sellin it they go for
