Graffiti is sometimes at shows in the US, like basement venues! Stupid question, but does anybody here write grafitti... I'm trying to get into it, because it looks fun as hell, and I'm an Okay artist! I remember when I went to France, a lot of graffiti there!, KFA uses graffiti for artwork, right? I would post some pictures of my stuff but I don't know how to code for an image...

I used to do it until I got arrested! That was a couple of years ago and really made me think that spraying public car park walls isn't very sensible! I used to use pens and all sorts! My tag was Evel-04 (the E made an arrow pointing to the 04) which was back in 2004. When I sighned up here I toke the name Evel with me before changing my name to Smoogie last year.

i can really appreciate some graffiti as a work of art but not random tags here and there.... especially like on some persons fence or something. it angers me to see graffiti on someones private property and stuff.... but massive graffiti murals done by real artists and not lame tags done by random 15 yr olds can look really awesome

I never really got into it. Could never really see the point in destroying public property just so you can write your name or handle on it. Millions of dollars are wasted every year to remove peoples "tags".
I can appreciate good graffiti art however, like murals that take up a full wall of a building. Just writing your name or "tag" is not cool.
