Me and my mate are about to start producing simple pine/mdf DJ stands. I was wondering if anyone thinks theres a market for them? Wer'e plannin to sell em on ebay. How much do you think we should sell them for?

Have a look on ebay or places that already sell them. Then decided your price based on your findings

Thanks. I've alrady had a look. They are generally metal stands and there is one company that sell pine ones but there a lot more technically made. I was thinking of selling a sort of flat pack version. Basically i just want to know if theres a market for them

HTFR sell them as do many dj stores and equipmentment retailers.

Yeah DJ Deck stands and Coffins are common now. From the basic MDF to alloys, Why not start making them but putting more features and better desings other than your uruall built in coffin to a table.
Worth a shot tho :D took me ages to find a good one but im still not 100% happy with it :) Does the job tho

Ill get a picture of the protoptype we've got soon. Its like a wooden framework sort of thing. It dunt look like a coffin lol!

Not bad to common, DJs are looking for more space saversbut more space efficiant stands.. from wall to roof mounted stands.
I find i can never get comfortable im allways bashing the lower of my shin on the bottom of my stand ot clipping my phone in my pocket as i walk past its enoying.
Design something that can have a steady base bit no mid height on it so you cant catch or bash anything whilst mixing or going past it.
