I've very VERY rarely saw any bad incidents at a rave..which when they did happen...were sorted pretty quickly...and the night continued.

All about the music..that's the only drug for me.
...and on a sudden thought about drugs...isn't alcohol one of the most dangerous drugs around...and that's found at all clubs...cigarettes too (more addictive than nicotene)...so raves can no longer be labeled under the 'it's for druggies'...

I never knew they played jazz at raves

Smoogie you don't half talk some absolute bollocks. You've never actually been to a rave in your life so why do you think your in a position to make such statements about them? Because you read a load of crap on Wikepedia? That doesn't put you in a position to dictate what was, wasn't, is & isn't a good rave. Why not actually go to a rave? A real one. You "Sexy Dave" and that other tit you imagined prancing around in your room to Bonkers 1 doesn't count!
There was just as many so called "chavs" 10 - 15 years ago except, as has been said, they were called townies. Nearly every one of my mates listened to hardcore, Jungle & DnB when we were growing up and we would have all been classed as townies.

I might be going to one soon but not much down our way except the usual night clubs (too many according to the police!) Ohter than that we only get Freepartys and they are good!

Really... Which free party riggs. What music do they play. Only one I can think of down your way is DMT... I know a few people who go to that and I even go myself from time to time. Let me know next time your going and I might be able to meet you there.
How do you get to them I didn't think you could drive.

To be honest im not sure what they are called but I used to get lifts to them! They were small but I have heard of larger ones I would like to go to one day! The music is a mixture of Hardcore/ Hard House and Hardstyle with bits of Trance, Techno and Old Skool. Its more for a bit of fun than to make money, there is drugs but saftey is still an imortent issue and it would make a chnage from the usual raves which are dominated by the Trancy Vocal sound such as raverbaby Quash ect...
